A classic phone could soon be celebrating its return: The Nokia 3310. A new version of the phone will be shown soon.
Besides of two smartphones with Android as operating system, also a new edition of the classic Nokia 3310 is planned.
HMD Global from Finland is responsible for the new one and has exclusive rights to use the Nokia brand.At the Mobile World Congress (end of February) a new version of the phone will be shown.
The original Nokia 3310 came on the market as a new version of the Nokia 3210 at the end of 2000.
126 million copies of the mobile phone were sold worldwide until now.
Due to the high battery life and the extremely stable design, the Nokia 3310 has got cult status.
At the moment we only know that the price will be about 59 dollars. It will look like a exact copy of the old one.
The only thing we don’t know yet if the new one is as stable as the old one.
