Attack At A Nightclub In Istanbul

On January 1, 2017 at around 1:15 local time, a terrorist was doing a attack at club reina in Istanbul.

​At least one armed terrorist entered the Reina Nightclub, one of the largest and best known clubs in Istanbul.
He got access to the club after he killed a policeman and a civilian at the entrance.
There were 700 – 800 visitors. At least 39 were killed and 69 injured.
The victims of the death are at least 16 foreigners, according to the turkish health minister Recep Akdag.
Some club visitors were able to save themselves by jumping into the water of the neighboring Bosporus and were later rescued by the police.​Nothing is known about the attacker(s). The Turkish Minister Süleyman Soylu said that they were “looking for a terrorist.”

The attacker spoke Arabic.
​The Governor of Istanbul Vasip Şahin confirmed that it was a terrorist attack.
The attacker had been equipped with a long weapon.
