New reports and tests have shown that YouTube’s Material Design does not work with the new Chromium Edge from Microsoft. Why? You certainly do not know that.

If you have the new Edge Browser installed and access the YouTube page, you will see that YouTube has the same old design. This is brand new, as before the new material design with the new Chromium Microsoft Edge has worked perfectly. Not now.

Why is that?

There are really only two options. Either Google wants to use only its browser Chrome, and therefore does not offer the material design. Or the other possibility would be that Chromium Edge is still in development. Therefore, it may be that it is because the new Edge Browser is not officially out there.

It remains to be seen what will happen in the future with YouTube and the Edge and whether the material design comes back.
