Minecraft gets Raytracing – Never been so nice
This year at Gamescom Minecraft was shown with Raytracing.
Path Tracing should be used to provide much more realistic lighting, reflections, and shadows. This happens via Microsoft’s DXR interface, which is only available on Windows 10.
That means it will only work in Windows 10
Release date?
Unfortunately, there is no release date yet
Nvidia has said, however, will probably appear next year.
Of course, you can also try shader mods. Your Minecraft should look very nice, too.
