Games like Far Cry 5 are no longer allowed to be published, PETA claims. The reason: you can go fish in it. This is not the first time that PETA has made such demands.
The “hunt for fish” is “unethical and glorifies violence,” writes PETA in a statement on April 18. “While in the game fish was bombarded with explosives, the player in Far Cry 5 can catch different fishing charts with the fishing rod and receive different scores depending on the species.”
Also, they want to not allow Ubisoft to release games that “glorify and banalize the hunting and killing of fish and other animal species”.
What do you think about that? You agree? Of course you do. Comment down below.
