After the Islamic New Year’s-attack in the nightclub “Reina” in Istanbul, the attacker has been finally arrested in Turkey. This was confirmed by Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim.

He was caught in a friend’s apartment on the evening in Istanbul’s Esenyurt district. As the “Habertürk” reported the friend comes from Kyrgyzstan.
According to the governor of Istanbul, Vasip Sahin, the man comes from Uzbekistan and was trained in a terror camp in Afghanistan. He came to Turkey in January 2016. According to Sahin, he confessed the massacre.
On the attack in the nightclub “Reina” the attacker had shot 39 people, including 27 party guests from another country.
