Almost every gamer knows the game series Grand Theft Auto. And the most classic title of this series is called “San Andreas”. It is known to be the best game in this series and one of the best games ever made. That may be true, but if you’ve never played it, should you start playing it in 2019? And why not?
Well, let’s start simple. The game is just really great. In Grand Theft Auto San Andreas you have the most freedom of all games in this series. You don’t only have a really big map where you can ride your bike, drive your car, boat and fly your plane… No, there are also many side activities available where you can enhance your player characters skills. And of course, we should not forget the story.
The Story
If the game would have graphics like Grand Theft Auto V, it probably would be the best story of all GTA games in this series.
But sadly the game does not have really good graphics for the year 2019, so most people would say that GTA V has the best storyline of all GTA’s, even if it’s not true.
The Graphics
As said above, GTA San Andreas does not really have good graphics to look at for the year 2019. There are so many games that have much better graphics than San Andreas. But thankfully, we are in the “future” and we can use mods to enhance the graphics of the game to a level of GTA IV.
That means you can use modifications for the game like textures and lighting effects to make the game much more beautiful. But still, you need a very good PC to run it with a decent frame rate.
Gameplay
The gameplay of San Andreas is probably the best of all GTA games. Why? The game is loaded with a lot of stuff. You can not only do the story campaign which takes a lot of time, but you can also do many side activities and buy houses and more in this game.
The map of the game also features 3 big cities called Los Santos (Los Angeles), San Fierro (San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas), but of course, the cities are much smaller than in real life.
Multiplayer
GTA San Andreas sadly does not have a multiplayer integrated into the game. But thankfully, a decade ago, some GTA gamers came together to create multiplayer mods such as MTA and San Andreas Multiplayer.
You just have to download the software and install it on your PC and start playing San Andreas with other people.
Conclusion
If you still haven’t played GTA San Andreas yet and you are a fan of the Grand Theft Auto series, you should definitely try to get the game.
It is worth it if you want a good story, a big and beautiful map and good music in the GTA radio. (Don’t get the Steam version – some songs got removed.)
