How to use the new speakerphone feature
To record a voice message freehand, only a small movement of the thumb or finger is needed. First, open the desired chat to which the message should go. Then tap and hold the microphone icon on the bottom right of the display next to the text entry box as usual.
After a short while, a menu will appear above the microphone with a lock icon. Swipe up on the lock with your finger and the recording mode is locked. You can now chat without fear of accidental deletion or early dispatch.
If you did not like the recording, just touch cancel to remove the voice message. For short messages, the voice recording function works, as usual, by continuous tapping.
