The Steam product description of Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass has been updated. Bigger levels are promised, but the sequel will still not be a open world game.
In contrast to its predecessors, the levels should be much larger. Secrets, optional goals and ambushes should fill the world. But overall it remains a linear experience, promise the makers. An open-world action game will not.

The release date is still TBA, but it will be released either this year or in the first months of 2019.
