You can now play online Free-to-Play games without Xbox Live Gold membership

Microsoft has removed the requirement to have an Xbox Live Gold membership to play free-to-play (FTP) online games on Xbox.

Before it was required for some games that you need the expensive Gold membership to play with your friends online. Now you can do that without paying anything.

But you should know that this only counts for free-to-play games. Multiplayer Games that need to be purchased will still need the Gold membership, for example “7 Day To Die” or “Friday the 13th”.
