Microsoft is known for heavily promoting their web browser Edge. But apparently now they also nag people with ads when they are on another browser’s download page.

As I already wrote, Microsoft is known for advertising their products if you search for similar products in their search engine Bing.

If you search for Firefox, you will get an ad.

If you search for another browser, like Firefox, you will get an ad.

Even if you search for a not so well known browser like Brave or Vivaldi, you get Edge recommended.

But Microsoft is not the only company that does this kind of advertising. If you go to google.com with, for example, Microsoft Edge, you will see that Google wants you to use their Chrome browser.
