Microsoft has announced that till now, Windows 10 is installed on 800 Million devices at this time.

Sadly, they did not reach what they had planned. Their plan was to get 1 Billion devices that are running on Windows 10 in 2018.

Why is that so?

Many people do not trust and like that Microsoft is collecting usage data all the time. You cannot disable it. That’s why many users till use Windows 8.1, 8 and Windows 7.

There are not many people left who use Windows XP, because of the discontinued support.

In January 2020, Microsoft will also stop the support for Windows 7 and probably will fully concentrate on Windows 10. That means that many people will then change to a newer version of Windows or another operating system.
